The new Bibliophile Legacy Society recognizes the generosity of individuals who have named the Jacksonville Public Library as a beneficiary in their estate plans. This esteemed group of philanthropists helps ensure that the Jacksonville Public Library will be able to inspire and educate future generations.

There is no minimum gift to become a member of the Bibliophile Legacy Society — simply inform us that you have named the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation in your estate plans by completing this Letter of Intent. Please print, complete, sign and return to the Library Foundation of Jacksonville, 303 N. Laura Street, Room 331, Jacksonville, FL 3202, or email the completed form to scottevans@lfjax.org.

Types of planned gifts can include:

Wills and Living Trusts (also known as Bequests)

Charitable Trusts

Charitable Gift Annuities

Donor-Advised Funds

Retirement Accounts

Life Insurance

Gifts to the Library are not subject to estate tax. Please consult with your attorney or other advisors to make sure that the gift you choose makes sense as part of your overall estate plan.

Sample language to include the Foundation in your estate plan: “I give and bequeath [$ amount or % of estate] to the Library Foundation of Jacksonville.”

Our Federal Tax Identification Number is #59-2836110.

If you have created a planned gift to support the Foundation – or if you intend to – please let us know, so we may recognize your generosity. For more information, please contact Scott Evans, Executive Director and Chief Development Officer, at 330-351-3107 or scottevans@lfjax.org.
